Life is precious and unpredictable at times, so preparation is critical. We know this first-hand.
Larry and his wife Sabrina have been married for over 30 years and met while in college. Over the years, they have seen life happen on its own terms. Larry’s wife was diagnosed with breast cancer at 31 and was a heart transplant recipient at age 52. Through their personal journey, these unexpected life events have enabled Larry to offer his perspective in helping coach his clients through the planning process. The Financial planning process must be fluid enough to adapt to whatever challenges you may encounter.
Certain life events cannot be planned for and going through these personal experiences caused Larry to realize his financial planning expertise was an opportunity to be of service to others. Having seen the toll that these health challenges had on his wife has enabled Larry to gain a perspective that has equipped him to relate to clients who have gone through similar experiences.
As a devout Christian, Larry feels a calling to work with individuals and families seeking financial planning or portfolio management services. He believes that money is a tool that can enable individuals to achieve great things for their family and community. Each of us has been equipped with something to offer others, whether it be our time, talents, or financial resources.
In the Bible, Jesus responded when asked by the righteous, "Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me." – Matthew 25:37-40.
This is the underlying motivation of Lyons Wealth Management and how we approach working with others. We are here to serve you.
